Role Objectives

•To undertake an in-depth familiarisation programme to include the company, its philosophies, products, manufacturing and operating processes and procedures, corporate plans and objectives, management and communication styles etc.

•To support the business technically in the field, resolve complaints and attend trials.

•To work closely with Sales, Production and Q/A departments to ensure a customer requirement is translated into clear and concise information required for manufacturing.

•To become an expert in the manufacturing capability of the plant and have an awareness of products produced elsewhere within the Division.

•To be the main contact for all technical enquiries from customers.

•To control all product development and trial activities.

•To act as a Technical Advisor for inks, films and lamination structures.

•To assist the sales team in the development of new business e.g. high value laminates.

•To work closely with the Group R&D centre.

Candidate Profile

Successful candidates will have a background in Q.A., Process Engineering, Technical Services, or Technical Sales, within the printed, laminated film sector. He/she must have a good technical appreciation of film construction, inks, lamination technology and finished laminate structures.
