Job: Packaging Technologist, Key Recruitment

As Packaging Technologist you will provide an effective and efficient packaging development service in liaison with the Packaging Manager. This will be achieved by providing an effective artwork control service, the development of all primary, secondary and tertiary packaging & the issue and control of relevant specifications. Candidates will ensure compliance to the company and legislative health and safety policies, procedures and standards at all times. Responsibilities include checking artwork, generating label specifications and attending first print runs where appropriate. You will also gain quotes & raise relevant purchase orders for origination costs, conduct & report packaging line trials and generate and maintain packaging components specifications and pallet stacking patterns. Successful candidates will have a sound knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of a broad range of packaging components, machinery and manufacturing techniques, ideally in an FMCG toiletries and cosmetics environment.
