Our client is a leading supplier of a comprehensive range of packaging materials with a forward thinking approach to design and innovation for both products and services. They are recruiting for a Sales Manager to be responsible for

• Recruitment, discipline & development of External Sales staff
• Liaise with General Manager/Director on sales matters 
• Training of sales team
• Leading by example, particularly by motivation and encouragement 
• Liaise with other company departmental managers 
• Maximise any personal sales and associated profit margins 
• Prepare annual sales budgets and gross profit 
• Prepare and implement business development plan 
• Staff welfare 
• Responsibility for capital indents, expenses and holidays for team
• Sales promotions/marketing 
• Slow moving and redundant stock movement 
• Company image within sales team 
• Liaise with credit control department on all procedures 
• IT role with sales team 
• Self development

The ideal candidate will have worked for a minimum of 3 years in a sales management position with appropriate knowledge of packaging market and product/product sectors.
