Position: Business Development Sales Executive/Manager – Thermoformed Food Trays/Rigid Plastics Packaging

Location: UK – Home Based

The Company: Our Client is a global leader in packaging who manufactures thermoformed trays and other plastic products for a wide range of fresh food, protective and specialty packaging products that meet specific market needs, not just for today, but with the future in mind. They work closely with the supermarkets, food processors and foodservice industries as they have developed packaging systems which are in use throughout the world enabling perishable foods to be distributed safely and efficiently.

The Role: Reporting directly to the General Manager you will be responsible for developing new business as well as some account management within the non food market, as well as targeting new areas of business growth. Being a successful sales professional within the thermoformed, vacuum formed industry, your technical experience will enable you to provide bespoke solutions for the customer requirements.

Requirements: You must have a proven sales record within the Thermoformed Packaging industry (not food ie gift pack, Pharma, Medical, toiletries) with the capabilities to build and continue to grow business within existing and new clients. The successful candidate will have the experience and ability to look at new market sectors and conduct a full business assessment in order to understand whether these are viable areas to expand the product range.
