Great opportunity for an experienced Print Account Manager to work on-site at this Design Agency advising on technical issues pertaining to print needs and helping with new business pitches.<br /><br />BASIC: £30k-£35k<br /><br />ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: 25 days holiday + benefits.<br /><br />LOCATION: Reading<br /><br />COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Reading, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Slough, Newbury, Basingstoke & West London<br /><br />COMPANY PROFILE: <br /><br />Part of an international group, working across print, packaging and retail. This part of the group specialise in bespoke print solutions for the retail sector, covering in-store Point of Sale (POS), visual marketing communication, leaflets, brochures, direct mail, stationary, and one-off campaigns including show cards, tent cards etc as well as general office/stationary items.<br /><br />JOB SPECIFICAITON: <br /><br />This role is to work on-site at a Design Agency client, working with them to manage the day-to-day running of a range of their accounts that have specific print needs. Working across, sheetfed, digital and POS print disciplines; the candidate will be both Account Manager to the Agency and Technical specialist attending meetings when the agency goes into pitch for new clients. The role will be to help streamline the processes between the three parties, the company, the agency and their clients, to build confidence within the agency Account Directors when pitching for design work with a high print content. To give advice at the outset on any suggested changes to design that might impact on the print content i.e. paper, print process, scheduling etc and give guidance on whether or not this is possible within budgetary and technical agreements.<br />As many of the clients are retail biased a good working knowledge of POS would be a distinct advantage.<br /><br />REQUIREMENTS: <br /><br />You must be able to work independently on site at the client’s premises and be used to working in a print environment, with good knowledge of sheetfed printing & POS. You must gave excellent client management skills and be able to offer technical advice and help pitch for new accounts to a wide range of clients. You will also be expected to attend face-to-face client meetings and once every 2-weeks attend briefings at HQ.<br /><br />INTERESTED?
