Job: Senior Packaging Technologist, Flixx Recruitment Ltd

Key Responsibilities: •    You will be the only site based packaging representative for their 3rd largest factory •    Problem solving, fault finding, running improvement programs •    The link and lifeline of the manufacturing department to ensure packaging has a positive influence on efficiency. •    Provide a comprehensive technical packing support service including troubleshooting •    Integration of NPD Packaging projects at site level •    Ensure that new packaging trials and start-ups are conducted effectively and efficiently •    Packaging related engineering support, engineering improvements or changes Candidate Requirements: •    You must have experience in an FMCG food manufacturing operation ideally with high speed packing machines (e.g filling equipment, flowrappers, baggers, cartoners, casepackers, palletisers).  •    You will have a proven track record at setting up operational standards for packaging through your experience with problem solving and trouble shooting in a manufacturing environment. •    Longer term career opportunities include advancement into the central Packaging Commercialisation team
