The Company: Our client is a leading global provider of media print/packaging & services. The Role: • To undertake the responsibilities of Supply Chain Management within Central Eastern Europe acting on behalf of the company. • Develop and maintain supply-chain procedures to enable the company to maximise its European Global service offering. • Support revenue growth with customers by putting product Service Level Agreements in place both within the company and with trading partners. • Ensure they maintain a profitable relationship with vendors and business partners to satisfy customer needs. • To assist the sales team, the customer and relevant print sites with developing new products from concept to finished product ensuring clarity and communication for the manufacture and costs of the product to all in the internal supply chain. Work with the Account and Print Management Teams to understand their changing customer needs. • Establish an effective supply chain process to fulfil the requirements of the existing and new business • Set up and regularly update data base of outworkers, undertake the process of outworkers approval and negotiating SLA. • Negotiate, develop and implement all necessary processes and procedures for outworkers ensuring most favourable terms of business for the company. • Keep all Outworker contract under review to ensure effectiveness and renegotiate terms as and when necessary. • Co –ordinate outworked jobs and approving them if necessary, • Co-ordinate with the Business Development team to ensure new products can be brought to market quickly and in a cost effective manner, and meet the customer needs. • Undertake any adhoc projects set by either their customer or the management team as required and within the agreed financial parameters.
Requirements: • The candidate will need to be able to lead and motivate employees and have strong and effective working relationships within the Operational Teams. • Strong organisational and influencing skills are also a pre-requisite as well as remaining calm under pressure are also essential. • The candidate should also be able to communicate well internally and externally, at all levels of the business. • A strong understanding of their customer’s strategy and the internal Account strategies will also benefit the job holder in achieving positive results with the ‘end product’.
