The Company:

We are currently with a leading marketing and corporate communications company. Employing around 1000 people they have an impressive portfolio in financial, retail, leisure and IT. Due to rapid growth they are now looking to recruit an Account Manager, reporting into the Creative Services Director, to win and develop new opportunities.

The Role:

 Strategically owning, managing and developing client relationships and revenue.  Finding new opportunities and building on those opportunities  Ownership of allocated accounts, working to achieve and increase given targets  Develop client accounts and build client relationships  Managing client budgets  Taking excellent client briefs and pro-actively suggesting alternative solutions to the client – adding value, up selling and cross selling where possible.  Interpret the requirements of the brief and deliver innovative solutions to drive the business forward  Confidently suggesting ways to add value and new solutions  Solving problems and offering alternative solutions  Proactively following up on all quotations sent to the client  Working to ensure that the client has confidence the project will meet or exceed their expectations  Monitoring project budgets, striving to complete within the allocated time  Having a good understanding of the client brand image  Working with the project mangers to ensure consistent project records are kept  Sourcing suppliers and building quotations

Requirements:

 Strong Print Management/Direct Mail experience  Marketing knowledge and experience  Strong strategic skills  Sales experience and good presentation skills  Print knowledge - essential  Client facing experience  Commercial business knowledge  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Ability to work under pressure and meet/exceed timelines  Proactive approach  Good organisational, planning and execution skills  Quality conscious with excellent attention to detail  Good time management skills  Team player  Experience of working within the Public Sector advantageous
