Logistics Manager - Screen and Digital - SC288

Our Client are a major player who specialise in Screen, large format digital, POS/POP Currently seeking a Logistics Manager working closely with the Planning Manager in ensuring that working methods which will deliver business growth to the group, are met through highly efficient and productive working practices ensuring customers needs to met on time.

The successful Logistics Manager key accountabilities will be:

• Attend Production meetings & produce delivery schedules accordingly
• Check the planning board regularly to ensure that work is progressing as planned
• Liaise with Production Department heads and ensure any issues are reported to the Client Service team
• This includes liaison with other Supervisors and Managers
• Ensure that all departments have accurate information in good time to ensure the smooth running of work through departments to ensure on-time-delivery
• Organise and operate a planned approach to logistics procedures so that capacity can best match demand at the right quality and efficiency levels
• Monitor customer, company and departmental requirements on an ongoing basis and operate the methods best suited to satisfy those requirements
• Assist in the identification of best working practices and ensure that such practices are implemented so as to yield the most cost effective Logistic processes - constantly reviewed to improve efficiency
• Update and produce reports and data as required in support of operational responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain accurate paperwork and filing systems to ensure papers can be retrieved easily
• Undertake all relevant clerical functions associated with the post and provide cover for other team members
