As a direct result of further investment in some of the world’s leading machinery, this West Midlands based supplier of print and flexible packaging has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Packaging Repro Mac Operator/Studio Manager to become part of their award winning group. Offering extensive in-house facilities including state of the art digital production equipment and a full reprographics studio they have everything you need to succeed.

A Group operation, they provide a diverse range of print products and print services across many market sectors within the UK and continental Europe.

With innovation and growth the driving force of their success they intend to send a lot of work through the studio throughout 2013 so are looking for a proven Packaging Repro Mac Operator/Studio Manager who can hit the ground running to play a valuable role in the running of their busy studio.

On a day-to-day basis you will be:
•Overseeing 4 other members of staff, taking on a hands-on supervisory role
•Providing artwork/repro function for the group studio
•Responsible for all reproduction responsibilities from proof using Adobe CS5 and Esko workflow
•Checking amending, artworking and pre-flighting work and outputting to flexo print
•Providing skilled and technically competent input on all aspects of design and artwork production

This is a key position in the studio team, and as such you will be expected to have:
•Strong working/technical knowledge of all software packages
•Proven Adobe CS and Esko workflow experience in a packaging repro role
•Previous ArtPro experience would be considered advantageous
•Working knowledge of studio (artwork/photographic/repro) and pre-press processes
•The ability to understand/interpret brand/corporate guidelines and provide artwork within these guidelines
