We are working on a number of projects with one of the UK’s leaders in high quality retail packaging.
They have a current and urgent requirement for a Quality Assurance Manager to be based at one of their sites, to co-ordinate the activities required to meet quality standards.
The QA Manager will ensure the company complies with quality standards, conducting internal/process based audits, work as part of a group Quality Assurance function to evaluate spoilage and waste figures and help support production identifying root causes. You will be handling Customer complaints and identifying solutions to these, constantly seeking ways to improve quality. Assisting in the writing and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures, and helping roll out new procedures and test methods when needed.
This person will need good Print and Packaging knowledge, ISO9001 experience, qualifications and experience in auditing, Continuous Improvement skills, an analytical mind, and be a good problem solver.
