We have a new and pressing requirement for a field-based National Account Manager within the Flexible Packaging arena, to build and develop a portfolio of Clients and generate new business on behalf of one of the UK's premier Packaging Groups.
Liaising closely with Internal Sales colleagues and the Customer Support Function, this person will need a strong proven track record in developing Accounts as well as possessing the drive and ability to identify and win new business. It is likely that 50% of this role will involve managing assigned Clients, with an expectation that the remainder of the time be spent prospecting for and winning new Customers.
An understanding of the Flexible Packaging market is essential, ideally with experience with Clients within a FMCG / Food environment. Other duties will include advising on and involvement with product launches, trial requests and cross-selling of other Group products and services where appropriate. You will provide technical support and ensure thoroughness of information in order to establish timings for the jobs and give attention to detail with regard to the information passed to the Customer Support Executives.
As this role is field-based, you will be working from home and can be based UK-wide – Clients will be assigned on a geographical basis.
