Further information

Market leading global Digital Media, Publishing, Print on Demand & Distribution organisation seeks to appoint a talented & inspirational Sales Manager to lead a high performing team of internally based international Client Sales Executives.

Working with a vast array of Clients ranging from major international publishing organisations through to small independent authors, the UK operation manages all International Business outside of North America, and there are strong regions of anticipated growth across EMEA and the Asia Pac. Currently the UK based International Sales team report into the VP of Sales in the US, but as part of the continued investment in their development & success, the Business has created this new post of Sales Manager to undertake responsibility for the performance, management, enhancement & continued success of the team.

You will be a strongly sales centric individual, possessing energy, innovation, talent & gravitas. You will not be required to ‘sell’ anything yourself, your remit is the proven ability to support, nurture & enhance the team performance and you will need demonstrable ability of success in managing similar teams in similarly successful environments. You will be a Manager, mentor, innovator & a ‘sounding board’ for the team, working closely with the senior UK Board in defining new strategic routes to market & the successful delivery of their targeted growth ambitions.

The position will be mainly office based with the remit to implement varied working hours to facilitate success across the varying time zones, so reasonable travelling proximity or preparedness to relocate (which will be supported) is considered essential.

Working experience within/exposure to the Publishing arena would be beneficial but not essential, the key attributes are those of intellect, dynamism, demonstrable sales management effectiveness of an internal sales team, personal sales skills & calibre, gravitas, a strong fit with their fantastic professional culture and critically, a passion to drive an already achieving team on to greater success.

Aside from a great working environment and a rapidly expanding business offering clear career progression, the role offers a very attractive package of strong salary, car allowance, plus a comprehensively achievable team & company performance bonus package.
