A global packaging and point-of-sale graphics solution provider currently requires a Production Specialist based in New York to work on multi million dollar projects for a major international cosmetics company. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a Production Specialist from the Packaging Graphics/Artwork sector who would like to work for a global, multidisciplinary design specialist.

As Production Specialist, you will be required to interpret numerous client requirements, packaging nuances and print process constraints utilising your ability and experience to produce, check and verify artwork or final press ready files with corresponding quality digital proofs.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
•Providing client specific packaging graphics solutions
•Interpreting the client’s requirements into a final print ready file format; taking into account the relevant print and manufacturing process
•Applying the necessary changes and modifications using your ability and experience
•Technical checking of artwork for compliance with brief and specifications
•Copy checking of artwork content including no change areas
•Contributing to the effective running and throughput of the production studio
•Utilising, maximising and developing the internal software and workflow solutions to achieve continuous improvement
Key attributes required:
•Excellent print process knowledge
•Experience of graphics production
•Knowledge of Apple Mac OSX, Esko Deskpack Suite, Adobe CS packages, Esko Visualizer and Esko Backstage and Backstage Pilot
•Strong understanding of colour separation, trapping and font management essential
•Excellent eye for detail
•Ability to be pro-active and maximise the software and workflow tools to give the client and print vendor an outstanding finished product
