Our client plans, create and deliver printed and digital communication to some of the most influential household names. Stock Management is a key function in the service our client provides to its customers. It involves accuracy and timing, and is integral to their commercial viability. The Stock Manager role is critical to maintain the standards which their internal and external customers demand, and encompasses the following elements:
To ensure all deliveries are booked-in, received and checked; to manage all stock in The Warehouse, including stock counts, safe storage; to report any stock discrepancies; to work with stock management team to devise and review stock management processes; to respond appropriately, within agreed timeframes, to internal and external stock queries.
Duties and Responsibilities
Establish Booking Schedule
Ensure that booked vehicles are unloaded promptly and that documentation is accurate
Ensure that deliveries are sample-checked and that stock is receipted into stock management system and factory control system
Report inaccuracies as appropriate
Ensure that all goods received are properly located within The Warehouse
Ensure that stock is allocated correctly into stock management system, with relevant identification, following delivery and/or return
Conduct regular stock-checks and stock counts, as required
Monitor stock movement in stock system and report any discrepancies as they arise
Make adjustments to stock system, within agreed value limits
Pick, Pack, Despatch
Respond, within agreed timeframes, to all pick, pack, despatch requests.
We are looking for a diligent individual who is highly organised, and who can manage a work load in order to prioritise tasks. You must also be an efficient communicator for this role.
