PT1959 - ACCOUNT MANAGER - B2 / B3 / COMMERCIAL PRINT

WEST YORKSHIRE

Our client is leading printing company based in West Yorkshire, specialising in B2 and B3 commercial printing, stationery and business forms.


They are currently looking to recruit an Account Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and eager to build relationships and bring work into the company, along with a good working knowledge of the print and direct mail industry.


Responsibilities / Requirements:
  • Proactively engage with customers to help achieve budgeted sales input levels
  • Communicate with customers by telephone to ensure that targets are achieved
  • To ensure that customers are fully aware of the product and service offering
  • To process enquiries and provide accurate quotations in accordance with company guidelines
  • Follow up quotations in a timely manner and use skills, knowledge and discretion to win orders in accordance with company guidelines
  • To canvass customers by phone to win work and influence customer order placing
  • Upon order receipt, carry out order review and prepare information required in order to process the order right first time
  • Serve as the main point of contact and source of information for and from external customers
  • Handling telephone, fax, internet and e-mail enquiries
  • First class customer handling skills
  • Willingness to participate in Customer Meetings where occasional travel may be required
  • Resilient and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Good problem solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills, including good telephone, listening and written skills
  • Willingness to work within a team to support colleagues and company objectives
  • Ability to be proactive and continuously identify improved ways of performing your role
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Email packages
