The Company:

My client is a UK based Design House.

The Role:

  • Processing and confirming orders and managing the order book
  • Coordinating production and delivery periods with planning/purchasing
  • Checking order specifications and prices as well as monitoring delivery times
  • Processing orders on demand
  • Preparing and issuing quotations in consultation with the Account Manager
  • Monitoring order progress versus available production capacity
  • Monitoring sales versus the budget
  • Following up action points from annual contracts and account visits regarding e.g. price, volume and logistics Agreements, special projects and general matters
  • Ensuring the availability of samples and sending samples to customers upon request
  • Dealing with complaints and ensuring that they are properly recorded
  • Providing technical information to customers.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge within the Packaging industry, preferably within Cartons / Corrugated sector
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to cope well under pressure
