Position: Bid Manager
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 + Bonus

The company is seeking an Bid Manager to join their team and, along with a competitive salary, will offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme.
As the Bid Manager your primary responsibility will be to support the sales and client services function to manage and achieve companies’ targets for growth and renewals. You will work hand in hand with business functions to plan, prepare and manage team through the bid and sales process. You will ensure the brand is articulated through all documentation and presentations. The Bid Manager will support sales with FTSE 500/Fortune 100 companies. You will work with retail, finance, insurance and pharma sectors. You will be seen as a support for the Business Development team and will be required to help with client visits, presentations and site tours.
The Required Skills and Experience
As a Bid Manager you will have extensive knowledge of the project management of complex bid and tender processes. You will be skilled at building relationships internally as you will use these relationships to co-ordinate cross company resources. As the bid manager it will be your responsibility to manage all collateral to ensure all processes are captured, documented and shared for best practice. You will be seasoned at identifying efficiencies and improvements within a process. There is a real need for a very strong communicator who has strong written and verbal communications skills. The environment you will work in will be very time sensitive and so having strong time management is imperative. You will have proven history of writing tenders and sales documents. Strong skills of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
In return for your skills as a Bid Manager you will be basic salary of up to £42,000. You will be enrolled on the company contribution pension as well as being provided with both life assurance and healthcare.
