£25K - £30K (Depending on Experience) + Overtime + 20 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays + Healthcare + Pension

Hours of Work: 8:30am - 5:30pm

Our client is a leading large format digital & exhibitions company based in the South East. They are currently looking to recruit an Account Manager to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop client relationships and customer satisfaction by providing problem solving solutions that are creatively led and commercially sound within the exhibition market
  • Responsible for the commercial delivery of specified key accounts as well as supporting the new business sales team with new solutions and quotes
  • The position will require people management skills whilst clearly communicating and working with the Project Delivery team
  • Maintaining contact with clients, to receive and developing briefs
  • Working with internal creative teams to develop the design, whilst ensuring the design solution is agreed and can be delivered by internal production and project teams
  • Produce detailed quotes with clear margin and ensure you give clear concise and timely client communications in conjunction with production and projects team and overseeing execution and sign off at build
  • Creating, maintaining, developing Account Plans for each client for the year ahead, clearly updating and maintaining each month, reviewing quarterly
  • Liaise with clients via email, telephone and face-to-face
  • Support the company's wider new business effort to acquire new clients assisting in presentations and pitches and identifying new business opportunities
  • Take detailed accurate briefs from the client
  • Weekly meetings updating Client Services Manager on current and forthcoming jobs
  • Compliance at all times with our ISO framework and responsibilities
  • Working with appropriate budget and date sharing software (Clarity / Smartsheet) to ensure appropriate training and compliance across the commercial team


Requirements:
  • Due to the nature of the industry, the successful candidate must be willing to work weekends and additional hours during busy periods. Time in Lou will be given for weekend work.
  • Extensive production knowledge in the industry (modular exhibitions, custom built exhibitions) with a little black book of 3rd party suppliers
  • An excellent communicator with the flair to engage all types of contacts with a strong commercial acumen
  • Experience of identifying and generating own leads
  • Proven track record for achieving revenue targets
  • Ability to develop relationships to fully understand key client motivations and aspirations
  • Ability to provide convincing presentations, engage audience and deal with questions, exude confidence and knowledge
  • Lead by own example and provide quality of output, appearance, time-keeping with a positive attitude
  • Excellent customer service / focus skills are essential
  • Able to efficiently use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PP & relevant Adobe products with experience of using costing software
