This role is suitable for an experienced Sales Professional from a Self-Adhesive Labelstock / Material Background – either from the Supplier or Customer side - Convertors, Printers and Packers.

Our long-established client is a leading self-adhesive labels, tickets and tags manufacturer with a reputation for innovation and customer service. Sector-leading expertise and resources combine to ensure that their reputation is based on the core values of service, trust and innovation. 

Continuous profitable growth over the years has been down to product innovation, design and development – with a particular focus in the digital and drinks sectors. 

They design, develop and manufacture labelling solutions all under the one roof for a range of customers that includes Convertors, Printers and Packers. These solutions then go on to be part of the packaging for some of the world’s best known brands across a multitude of sectors. Working with suppliers, customers, (and their customers), they ensure best-in-class performance and functionality.

The Opportunity

An opportunity now exists for an experienced Business Development Manager to continue to grow and expand their Northern UK territory which has seen significant expansion during the last decade and more.

Reporting to the Sales Director, the role will involve the day-to-day management and development of existing accounts.

Personal Profile 

The candidate must have a very strong track record of growing sales in a B2B commodity market while being able to demonstrate strong people skills. 

Required Experience

Sector experience in the pressure sensitive market is essential for this role

The candidate needs to be a self-motivated results-oriented individual with a positive outlook who is comfortable working on their own, but just as comfortable working within a team.  

An ability to plan ahead and be well organised is essential, the candidate must also be mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with people at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital as well as being at all times well-presented and business like. 

Ideally the candidate will be professionally trained in all aspects of sales development and relationship selling. 

The candidate must also understand the basic principles of marketing, including market sector targeting, product offer development and features-benefits-solutions selling in addition to excellent IT / Communication skills.
