Business Development Manager | Flexible Packaging | Cheshire | Up to £50k

 

A Cheshire based highly successful packaging materials and machinery supplier. With a comprehensive product offering specialising in film and flexible packaging requirements, with the ability to manufacture pallet wrap film to bespoke specifications. With a focus on developing partnerships with their clients they strive to offer eco-friendly solutions a consultative approach to ascertain their client’s needs and the ability to offer more environmentally friendly products to their client operations.

 

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Crafting and executing innovative strategies to attract new business while nurturing existing relationships within the flexible packaging sector
  • Become the face of the company to clients, ensuring their needs are met with the cutting-edge solutions
  • Leveraging your market insight to stay ahead of trends, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion
  • Collaborating with a team of passionate professionals across product development and client services
  • Networking at industry events and visiting customers on site

 

Key attributes required:

  • A proven track record in external sales and thrive in both account management and new business acquisition
  • High level of communication skills, a master negotiator and relationship builder
  • Driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit that loves the challenge of market expansion and product innovation
  • Consultative sales approach to truly understand the client’s demands and product limitations
  • Experience working with flexible packaging, film, polythene, pallet wrap, or void fill desirable
