About the job

Working within the mailing production team, your role as Operator will be required to operate our envelope enclosing machines, delivering Personalised Printed and Digital Communications.

Role Description

We are looking for someone who has the following:

  • Experience of setting up and running automated envelope enclosing machines.
  • A common-sense approach and the ability to problem solve mechanical issues
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Confidence with numbers
  • You will need to ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standard, following procedures, maintaining machines accordingly whilst ensuring that your machine runs at the correct output speeds with high levels of accuracy.
  • You will also be required to learn and train on other machines within the production department to help the company in other areas as required.
  • The ability to react to job specifications such as production time, operations, quality, and quantities required.
  • An enthusiastic team player who will provide support to other members of the team.

Desirable qualification/experience/skills 

  • Experience with Bluecrest or Quadiant enclosing lines would be an advantage.
