CPI GROUP is the leading book printer in Europe, with the capacity to manufacture 700 million books each year and employing 3,800 people across 17 plants in 6 different countries (France, United Kingdom, Germany, The Netherlands, Spain and Czech Republic). The group prints 500 million pages every day and handles 45,000 orders each month.

CPI includes many of Europe’s longest established book manufacturing companies, such as Firmin-Didot in France, Clausen & Bosse in Germany, KoninklijkeWohrmann in the Netherlands and Mackays in the UK. In December 2010, CPI acquired BlackPrint in Barcelona, Spain. CPI works with more than 2,000 publishers across Europe.

CPI UK is the leading book manufacturer in the UK, with a turnover of £112 million (2011/12). It employs 980 people across six locations and manufactures 160 million books every year. It is made up of three divisions: trade books (CPI Bookmarque, CPI Cox & Wyman, CPI Mackays, CPI White Quill, CPI William Clowes), digital (CPI Antony Rowe) and commercial (CPI Colour, the former Fulmar group companies). It manufacturers books in hardback and paperback, in all formats, from single copies (print on demand) through short run digital to long run best sellers printing in hundreds of thousands of copies. CPI UK is a full service provider to the publishing industry, offering ebook conversion, paper supply, warehousing and distribution.
