2D GRAPHIC DESIGNER / ARTWORKER - LARGE FORMAT / DISPLAY

Our client is an established large format and exhibition display company based in the East Midlands. They are currently looking to recruit a 2D Graphic Designer / Artworker to join their team reporting to the Managing Director.

Job purpose:

• Take briefs from customers, over the phone, by email and face to face.
• Understand a customers' requirements, interpret their vision, and deliver high quality graphic design.
• Develop graphic templates for our custom exhibition stands & portable products
• Take client supplied artwork and alter as required for our in-house printing
• Check client supplied artwork to check
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator / CC and or CorelDRAW
• Work with the 3D designer to assist with graphics for 3D visuals
• Work with our team to produce exhibition stand plans
• 3D design knowledge would be an advantage
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, in order to be able to work on multiple projects at once.
• Excellent customer service skills in order to deal effectively with customers.
• To communicate effectively with colleagues and factor in the relevant team members contribution to the design process.
• To learn and work with new software.
• To conduct yourself and carry out any work for the business in line with company policies and procedures.
• To complete any other tasks that are deemed as reasonable.
