Our client is a worldwide manufacture of POP and Display.  Through an extensive network across the UK, US and Asia they are able to produce very high spec display units for the retail sector. They have a need for a Design to Production Manager. This company has a global presence, state of the art offices, a clear progression path, high end clientele and an extremely forward-thinking way of working. 

The Role

The role of the Design to Production Manager provide excellent and a proactive service to the clients by ensuring that jobs are produced on time, according to the brief, and delivered successfully. You will have Skills in FMCG/ Retail POS and ideally have worked with a number of substrates but understanding of wood and metal would be a great advantage. Your role is to ensure that work is produced correctly, within agreed timescales and provide a high level of service to the client whilst achieving SLAs, & KPIs.  Managing and realising cost effective methods advising best production methods and working as though you were part of an onsite team. You will be a key support to the 3D design unit and expected to manage their daily workload efficiently whilst managing a small team of designers. People skills are a must in this due to the variety of Brands you will be liaising with on a daily basis.

The Required Skills and Experience

You must be a creative thinker with good brand awareness and able to respond with quick and effective solutions to client queries You must have a good relationship with or at least knowledge, in the context of POS/POP with retailers/ FMCG sector. Experience of working in an environment where priorities are constantly changing and specifications and client requirements are subject to change.  You must have account management or project management experience of the design to print process, you need to be able to demonstrate knowledge of the artwork and design process.  Excellent time management, multi-tasking and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage extremely tight deadlines. Finally you must have excellent client facing and customer service skills with the ability to foster strong relationships.
