Position: Senior Account Manager/Director

Location: Hampshire

Salary: £38K plus an attractive bonus structure + 25 days holiday ( 37.5 hour week )


  • As a senior account manager you will be responsible for the day to day management of a team of seven, based in the client’s head office. You will manage creative services, typesetting and artwork
  • Your responsibilities will include storage and distribution from a central UK warehouse and a warehouse based abroad
  • Your role will be to manage the production and delivery of printed collateral, corporate merchandise, translation services and large print/braille. You will also be responsible for the efficient management of mailing campaigns.
  • You will be required to attend client meetings and will therefore demonstrate an unflappable approach to problem-solving and managing difficult situations
  • Managing the contract
  • Show leadership, take ownership of situations and problems and deliver solutions
  • Act as first escalation point for client
  • Managing the account team and Studio
  • Ensure the strict adherence to customer SLA
  • Monitor orders placed and ensure delivery to specification and schedule
  • To work unsupervised, at the direction of the account director
  • Prepare reports as necessary
  • To provide print production advice and technical support
  • Monitoring service provision and overseeing administration
  • Advise on how to optimise production to maximise cost efficiencies
  • To be sufficiently experienced to make a commercial decision
  • Liaising with the client, discussing and agreeing specification
  • Placing orders as required


  • You will build relationships with the customer and manage perceptions and expectations, develop a good understanding of the client’s business and industry sector
  • Working in the production management team you will constantly review and revise procedures within the team and with your suppliers to ensure the most efficient method of working

Additional Requirements:

  • You will normally be required to work from the office, however at times with reasonable notice, you will need to attend company client and company supplier premises and, where it is unavoidable, to stay overnight in local hotel accommodation
  • The company will reimburse the cost of travel & subsistence and hotel accommodation
