Senior Account Manager
A print management company which strives to be the best in everything it does, is seeking an integral and pro-active manager and senior member of the account management department to provide first class customer service to a designated portfolio of customer accounts.
This company is passionate about listening to every clients’ story, challenges and vision to come up with tailor-made ideas and propitious recommendations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an account team of 9, providing support and ongoing development to improve the performance of the direct reports. You will ensure contracts perform within the agreed SLA; provide support and guidance to customers to ensure that projects run smoothly from development of initial concept; map timelines and manage budgets, through to delivery of the end product.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates a high level of commercial acumen by making informed decisions regarding selection of suppliers/sub-contractors based on cost and quality of product/service required.
Taking responsibility for the performance and ongoing development and training of direct reports
requires an authoritative character and a natural born leader. You must also be a team player, provide support and back-up cover for the Directors as required. As the first point of contact for escalation of any issues within your account team, exceptional listening and communication skills are fundamental. Being a confident communicator will also be key to proactively working to develop and grow your own customer accounts and those of the wider team through obtaining a thorough understanding of your customers’ needs and ensuring they are met, including those detailed within the SLA.
Experience of transactional print and direct mail will be advantageous.
