Business Development Executive

An exciting new business sales opportunity within the UK’s largest Independent Postal Operator. Products ranging across Print, Post, Digital Communications and Marketing Services We are looking for dynamic BDE’s with proven experience in delivering sales revenue in designated target markets.

The role will focus on following up targeted campaigns with outbound calls. Promoting UK Mail Digital services and helping businesses reduce costs and or grow their business.

This division has grown 60% year on year and with this comes many opportunities for career growth and development.

Aim of role

  • To generate new business sales promoting UK Mail Digital services
  • To develop each account won to maximum potential by introducing other UK Mail associated products and solutions
  • To adhere to the policies and procedures set by UK Mail and to actively be part of positive performing culture.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • To build sales pipeline and achieve monthly revenue targets
  • To actively work towards achieving set KPI’s and maximise productivity
  • To utilise CRM updating information on accounts and prospects
  • To prioritise and schedule calls managing their own desk    
  • To develop strong prospect clients and identify opportunities                                 
  • To deliver sales excellence at all times and to achieve/exceed expectations set via the capability framework for your role.                                                                                                                          

Key Qualities

  • Previous experience of selling solutions into SME’s is essential
  • Proven sales experience (with demonstrable results)
  • Excellent verbal persuasion skills
  • Keen eye for technology
  • Self-motivated and driven
