Production Scheduler, POS - Dorset
Fantastic Retail Point of Sale solutions provider seeks to appoint an experienced Production Scheduler to manage the workflow through their prefinishing & finishing areas and the enhanced delivery of world class Client service.
Ideally with a good understanding & experience of Tharstern or Prism MIS (or industry similar), your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient scheduling of the Large Format/POS work through the Production Management system in order to meet Client expectations & delivery dates.
Combined with your Production experience in the Large Format / POS arena, you will have the experience & intellect to analyse scheduled resources continuously, anticipating overload and arranging the additional resources necessary to ensure job conflicts are reconciled and the scheduling module is constantly updated to include shift and planned maintenance regimes that reflect the changing factory environment.
You will productively support and enforce the usage of ‘work to’ lists within departments, together with the necessary pre-works order procedures within the main office, liaising with the all relevant Managers to ensure Client lead times provided are scheduled effectively amongst live work.
Naturally your experience will provide new recommendations regarding workflow re-scheduling, maximising capacity and increased production efficiencies, along with consistent reviews of associated processes and procedures for potential improvements across the wider Business delivery.
You must possess a genuine ‘Can do’ proactive attitude, have a consistently level headed & approachable manner, with a proven ability to ‘multi task’, as you’ll often be reviewing several complicated issues at the same time.
