Up to £25K (Depending on Experience) + Overtime (Paid at Time + ½) + 20 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays + Christmas Closedown

Hours of Work: 8:45am - 5:15pm (Monday to Friday)

Our client is a specialist large format printing company based in London. They offer a full business solution to a very wide range of customers from design agencies through to end users. They are currently looking to recruit a Customer Service & Pre-Press Operative to join their team.

Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for excellent customer service and the delivery of customers print requirements via the sales team or directly from the customer
  • Ensuring the customer specification is adhered to and delivered cost effectively, on time and within the costed quotation, whilst ensuring all process are recorded in accordance with the internal system.
  • Responsible for receiving digital files from our customers via disk, email, ftp and to send them to various RIP system within the company
  • Ensure digital files are set up correctly for the various digital machines and if required amend to meet customer requirements
  • Responsible for direct and indirect customer service ensuring a full understanding is gained of the customer requirement including costs, quality and timelines as agreed
  • Ensure all company procedures and process are adhered to and followed including the input of data onto the relevant internal systems
  • Ensure customers are kept up to date on progress and timelines appropriately to ensure delivery, costs, quality is maintained as agreed between the company and the customer
  • Ensure any issues or problems are highlighted to the Team Leader in a timely manner
  • Responsible for assisting colleagues on projects as and when required
  • Responsible for safely working on machinery and maintaining the department working environment in accordance with Health & Safety procedures
  • Responsible for supporting and influencing potential sales into the department
  • Ensure excellent communication is delivered, enhanced and maintained with colleagues, customers and other departments
  • Responsible for highlighting any machinery issues in accordance with company procedures on time


Requirements:
  • Previous experience of working within the print industry with customer service experience
  • Educated to GCSE standard with excellent software skills
  • Experienced in speaking to customer and a good understanding of pre-press
  • Proven ability in handling detailed information
  • Proven ability and experience of delivering on time quality printing
  • Excellent proven customer service skills
  • Customer & team focused
