Operations Manager (Warehouse & Distribution)

Impact is the leading distributor of printed publicity material for the London arts and entertainment industry. Our specialist marketing services include distribution and display of leaflets and posters; and the provision of promotional staff and brand ambassadors.

We work with a range of prestigious organisations including Shakespeare’s Globe, Walt Disney, National Theatre, Sadler’s Wells and the National Gallery.

We operate out of a 3,000 sq ft warehouse on the Regent’s canal in East London. We employ 10 full-time distributors who drive company-owned vans, and who visit thousands of display sites across London every week.


We’re looking for an experienced operations manager who can co-ordinate our warehousing and oversee the delivery of our print display and promotional services to an exceptionally high standard.

Our ideal candidate is meticulously organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a time-critical environment. You will possess practical skills and a willingness to adopt a hands-on approach where required, but will also be a problem-solver and a lateral-thinker who strives to improve systems in pursuit of operational excellence.

In other, words you will be able to see the bigger picture, without losing sight of the detail.

Reporting directly to our managing director, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving key services; leading and developing our print display and promotional teams; management of our warehouse and facilities; and overseeing key compliances (including Health & Safety).

This role is ideal for an individual who has gained significant management experience in the print industry and is looking for a career move into a secure, associated business.

Cost Control: you’re able to analyse costs associated with service delivery to ensure all work is completed to agreed profit margins.

IT Systems and Management: you are familiar with current workplace systems and have an understanding of emerging technologies.

Flexibility: you’re able to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings/weekends if required.
