Our client is a specialist Large Format Graphics Company based in London. They offer a full business solution to a very wide range of customers from design agencies through to end users.

They are currently looking to recruit a Sales Executive to join their expanding team to help reinvigorate lapsed accounts and develop new business.

  • Covering the M25 with a particular emphasis on Central London postcodes
  • Expected to generate around £300K - £400K turnover in first year
  • Generate sales from new and existing customers with a strong emphasis on new business
  • The successful candidate will be given some existing accounts but will also be expected to generate new business
  • Responsible for generating own leads as well as through following up on those passed to them from the company's referral programmes and lead generation activity (outbound telemarketing, marketing campaigns, exhibitions etc.)
  • Develop and maintain active pipeline of new sales opportunities
  • Cold calling and business development activities
  • Analyse and understand the customer's detailed requirements, match to the company's production capabilities, all the while negotiating to maximise the company's margin whilst meeting the customer's defined needs
  • Maintain accurate customer records and designate appropriately
  • Record sales activity, maintain opportunities and manage leads in a timely and efficient manner ensuring consistency and accuracy for reporting purposes
  • Day to day reporting to the Group Sales Director, keeping them informed of progress and abreast of opportunities as and when required
  • Working with internal Customer Service teams to help ensure a successful path from order to finished, delivered solution
  • Regular communication with the Managing Director around competitor activity and market developments
  • Responsible for representing the company at industry fairs, trade shows and customer events as well as being an active contributing member of the team

  • Computer literate and competent with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • A minimum of 2 years working in a customer facing role in a Business to Business environment
  • A sales related role with experience of working within one or more of the defined verticals; building hoardings, corporate signage and retail POS
  • Good understanding of the printing process, preferably with in depth knowledge of wide format inkjet technology and market place
  • Experience of working with Salesforce
  • Experience of working with a Print MIS, preferably Optimus DASH!, for generating enquiries and quotes
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Persuasive, competitive and goal driven
  • Good time management skills
  • Good organisational skills
