20 Days Holiday (Goes to 25 after 5 years) + 8 Bank Holidays
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm (Flexibility will be needed in this role)
Our client is a leading signage company who specialise in producing award-winning signage solutions to clients all around the world. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Sign Installer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide effective signage installation, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times
- Attend site to install various sign systems in a timely and efficient manner
- Load and unload company vehicles, ensuring signs are well protected at all times
- Apply vinyl graphics and digitally printed media
- Operate light machinery and tools
- Maintain personal tools and equipment
- Check and sign off works on job sheet & complete SOFT reports when required
- Ensure that the pre-installations room is organised and kept tidy
- Maintain company vehicles as required
- Working as part of a team
- Work well under pressure, adhere to deadlines and remain professional at all times
- Flexible and willing to work overtime when required
- Understanding of all health & safety policies
Requirements:
- Full & current CSCS is a MUST
- IPAF, PASMA & Fall Arrest qualified is an advantage
- Previous sign fitting / manufacturing experience
- Related NVQ or SVQ Level 2 qualification or completed an employer sponsored apprenticeship which included the achievement of a City and Guilds
- Ability to understand architectural drawings and floor plans
- Full, clean UK driving license
- Ability to work at height
- Graphic and design understanding
- Previous experience in making electrical connections an advantage
- Well organised and able to prioritise under pressure
- To work efficiently and accurately, applying attention to detail
- Clean and presentable
- To work in a punctual, clean tidy manner
- Hands on and practical
- Problem solving
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role
