Purpose of Role:
- The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for the management of suppliers considering price, quality, and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply at competitive prices.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice procurement vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001, deliver management information, ensure data quality and appropriately communicate information
- Support the Sales team in the completion of tender opportunities
