40 Hour Week

Our client are a signage company based in the South East, they manufacture and install signage to the highest standards to some of the UK's largest companies. They are currently looking to recruit a Health & Safety / Installation Manager to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out on-site health and safety inspections
  • Writing reports
  • Assisting in the continuous improvement of the company's working practices and procedures and raising quality standards
  • Managing all installation staff and fitters of which there can be up to 24 per day on-site
  • Managing sub-contractors
  • Arranging installations
  • Arranging access equipment
  • Contacting site prior to installation visits
  • Conducting risk assessments and method statements


Requirements:
  • Construction site experience is essential
  • NEBOSH Certificate is desirable
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Excellent working knowledge of the signage and graphics industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to work to multiple deadlines
  • Good motivation skills and lead by example
  • Able to 'think outside of the box' as and when needed
