Account Executive – Paper & Print Sales

The Company

  • The Gerald Judd Group is a paper merchant that specialises in a very personal service providing paper and paper-management to a wide range of clients in the magazine publishing, media, retail, holiday, converter and printer markets.
  • The business prides itself on an in-depth knowledge of both paper and print. We provide clients with unbiased advice on all aspects of their print and paper requirements from a technical and commercial perspective.


  • Based in Northampton. You will be expected to travel to our London office during initial training. Occasional travel to visit customers may also be required.

Role: Inside Sales

  • The role is office-based and involves receiving enquiries, giving quotations, processing orders, arranging deliveries, invoicing, forecasting publication-paper requirements, stock management and reporting paper usages to customers.
  • Using your knowledge of paper and print to help find solutions to specific customer requirements.
  • All activities are carried out on our own paper-management system as well as using MS Office.

The person

  • Self-confident and self-reliant but with a team attitude.
  • Shows initiative, a curiosity to learn and a desire for personal development within a growing business.
  • Good communicator (both verbally and written) with strong inter-personal skills.
  • Attention to detail with good administrative skills and numerate.


  • Experience of office-based sales activities dealing with customers is essential, preferably in a business-to-business environment.
  • Knowledge of paper and/or print will be much preferred but may not be essential.
  • Able to use all MS Office products to a good standard.
