Hours of Work: 8:30am - 5:30pm

Our client is a leading print management company based in the North West, selling the full solution to a variety of markets including catering, education, construction, restaurant and pub markets. They offer in-house creative services and source or manufacture all forms of print, digital print, large format and mailing.

They are now looking to recruit an Account Manager to join their expanding team, responsible for growing sales from new accounts and upselling / cross selling to an existing client base.

  • Manage your accounts in order to exceed sales target
  • Assist the CEO and Managing Director in securing new business for the group
  • Replace lost business with new business from your accounts by cross or upselling
  • Be aware and continually review the customers' business strategies in order to optimise potential within the accounts
  • Responsible for producing an accurate business plan outlining strategy, tactics and timing for account development
  • Attend monthly 1:2:1 meetings to discuss account and project reviews
  • Identify key people within accounts and build lasting personal relationships
  • Identify senior people within account and introduce to CEO and Managing Director
  • Ensure key account information files and brief sheets are updated constantly in conjunction with account support personnel
  • Ensure networking is carried out at every given opportunity
  • Endeavour to keep in contact with any current contacts that leave current client and take up a position in a new company
  • Assist the team in creating an environment of continuous improvement by being responsible for proposing and agreeing service levels with the customers and holding regular reviews in order to ensure they are maintained
  • Initiate discussions regarding future developments and agree new goals with clients
  • Attend and contribute to team sales meetings
  • Handle all complaints quickly and efficiently in accordance with company procedures
  • Responsible for all direct action required as a result of regular weekly / monthly reports
  • Maintain the Sales Customer Care Programme
  • Review the monthly stock and action as necessary
  • Ensure jobs are invoiced as quickly as possible once complete and accounts are informed
  • Regularly liaise with clients and keep updated regarding work, budget and accuracy of work produced
  • Be aware and continually review the business strategies of the customers to optimise potential within the accounts
  • Fully prepare for client meetings and provide the CEO / Managing Director with the relevant background information in advance of any planned meetings and also provide detailed minutes / actions reports following meetings
  • Liaise with internal departments as required

  • Be organised, keeping desk area tidy at all times and account / personal filing up to date
  • Participate in training activities
  • Attend and participate as fully as possible in company meetings
