We are a globally recognised Manufacturing & Recycling business specialising in customer specific packaging and consumer goods. Our Packaging site in Devizes, manufacturing successfully since 1972 is seeking a new Quality Manager to facilitate the site quality strategy and plan, whilst taking operational responsibility for the QA Department/Laboratory, managing quality, hygiene and testing activities for the site, along with accredited system requirements.

Main responsibilities:-

• Facilitate the site quality strategy and plan
• Act as principal point of contact for product/service quality and hygiene issues, for both Customer and internally raised matters, ensuring appropriate and robust corrective action are taken to bring about swift resolution
• Promote fact-based analysis using structured tools and techniques, to drive quality
improvement and provide root cause solutions
• Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate and maintain quality improvements
• Manage the site QA/Laboratory team and testing programme
• Develop and maintain the integrated BRC-IOP/ISO9000 Quality/Hygiene system and FSC system

Candidates should be able to demonstrate:-

• Experience of managing a Quality function, ideally within packaging or FMCG environments
• Proven ability to influence and facilitate cross functional improvement activity
• Experience of BRC/IOP, ISO9001 and auditing
• Process Improvement and solution implementation
• Championing positive change
• Ability to plan, manage time and prioritise workload effectively
• Ability to operate under pressure
• Pro-active approach
