Our client have been established for over 25 years and are one of the largest independent sign manufacturers in the UK. They supply a vast and comprehensive range of products; from standard safety signs to bespoke way-finding systems, mainly focusing on architects, designers, retail, banking, museum and heritage markets.

They are currently looking to recruit a Production Manager to join their growing company.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing 10 - 15 people across two sites including sign shop, manufacturing, screen, digital and fabrication
  • Lead and manage the production team through the production process ensuring all work is manufactured, delivered and installed to the highest standards achievable
  • Develop production planning schedule, quality control process, delivery / installation process and schedule
  • Develop and train all production team members to ensure necessary skills and work standards are developed and maintained
  • Ensure all roles have clear job specifications with clear responsibilities
  • Communicate professionally with all customers through production and installation
  • Work effectively across internal departments
  • Raise any issues and seek solutions to problems in a proactive and positive manner
  • Ensure information contained within job sheet is clear and accurate
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the production area
  • Hold production meetings


Requirements:
  • Previous signage experience and an in-depth knowledge of the industry is essential
  • Self-motivated with excellent leadership and teamworking skills
  • Reliable with good time management skills
  • Problem solving and communication skills
