An award winning multi-channel communications company is on the search for a first-class Business Development Manager to be responsible for the promotion of their marketing services to a blue-chip client base  

At the forefront of the marketing industry, this ground-breaking organisation is looking for someone who can proactively engage in selling activities, identifying customers through cross selling and new business initiatives.

Coming from a multi-channel communications or print solutions background, you will exploit your knowledge and experience to solve customer problems with value added solutions and alternatives that position our client as a valued supplier to a broad range of customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and utilise the sales CRM tool to grow business by adding new business development opportunities, as well as identifying current clients who have potential marketing needs
  • Utilise the target prospect list to identify new business development opportunities and target prospects within area of responsibility to grow business and cross sell into new and current customers
  • Be a liaison between sales, manufacturing, product tech./development and suppliers to successfully and efficiently navigate opportunities through the selling process leading to successful closure and implementation
  • Conduct meetings and training sessions to keep the sales force educated on all multi-channel communications capabilities
  • Keep up-to-date on new products, technical advisement and resource allocation needed to win business in the marketplace
  • Recommend solutions that save time, money, and relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Weekly and monthly reporting as required for management



Required Skills

  • B2B sales experience in a marketing, digital, print or other related industry
  • Ability to recommend process improvements to bring value to products, services and customer relationships
  • Understanding of specification of materials for company on behalf of customers
  • Able to converse fluently at all contact levels within an organization
  • Ability to apply market knowledge relative to competition, market share, opportunities
  • Demonstrate experience in analysing trends, pricing and competitive programs
  • Effective communicator on email, phone and face-to-face
