Are you an experienced purchasing and procurement professional who would like an exciting opportunity to join our customer services team?

We are a small friendly team consisting of 5 staff members. Our business services include print, mailing campaigns, design, promotional gifts, stock management and distribution, online ordering, marketing services, local authority billing and daily correspondence.  

This new job role has been specifically created to service and support our mailing and fulfilment team and will consist primarily of purchasing all print items needed for our production facility in Bristol.

The successful candidate will be required to manage all key elements of the job role as listed, but not exclusively limited to, those below:

  • Selecting appropriate suppliers for price requests and entering prices accurately onto MIS system
  • Recommending suppliers based on price, knowledge, schedule and other relevant factors
  • Raise orders via MIS system ready for print and despatch
  • Liaise with in house design team to make sure all elements of print can be achieved within the cost and specification where required
  • Making sure deliveries are on time and liaising with external suppliers to resolve any problems
  • Deliver and invoice jobs via MIS system making sure all costs are accounted for and charged on to client where applicable
  • Provide additional resource where required to Account Management Team based in Bristol

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Project managing proactively ensuring that all requirements are fully understood and translated into effective RFQ’s
  • Positive and proactive communication with external supply partners
  • Represent Latcham CGL at meetings where appropriate
  • Ensure works instructions and briefs are accurate and concise, allowing efficient work flow, and ensure that all company procedures are adhered to
  • Take all opportunities to maximise revenue as appropriate
  • Ensure MIS system is accurate and kept up to date at all times
  • Work within procedures and guidelines set by the business
