Global bespoke Packaging Business delivering the highest quality cartonboard solutions to a wide range of major Health, Beauty & Pharmaceutical Brand Clients, seek a talented and disciplined Structural Designer with bespoke experience in the 3D Cartonboard Packaging arena.

With a proven ability to interpret design briefs in order to develop and produce innovative packaging designs for manufacture, you will have a diverse skillset encompassing creating 3D visualisations, whilst providing original and modifying existing CAD drawings (ideally using Artois CAD), producing prototypes to a high standard and ensuring all jobs are completed accurately and to tight timescales.

Working with Prepress and Pre Make Ready to ensure all tooling requirements are ordered and controlled, you’ll form a key part of a close working team, delivering excellent customer service and taking responsibility for constantly innovating and improving processes. Your practical knowledge of artwork / repro / print / production / finishing processes, will be combined with an enhanced appreciation of material limitations/solutions and blended with a passion for creativity and structural efficiency across multiple touchpoints

You must have the following skills & experience;

  • Fully PC, MAC and CAD literate with the ability to use CAD software such as Esko Artios and a Kongsberg plotter (or similar)
  • Demonstrable experience of carton manufacturing processes (a personal portfolio will be required)
  • A detail conscious approach, combined with a process and systems driven outlook

An accomplished Structural Packaging Designer, you’ll thrive in a fast paced, cross functional environment, where your extensive cartonboard Packaging experience is combined with a deep understanding of sustainable and innovative solutions within the sector.
