Hours of Work: 9:00am - 5:00pm or 8:00am - 4:00pm (can be flexible)

Our client is a market leading folding carton manufacturer based in the North West, supplying to predominately the food market. They have an exceptional reputation for their outstanding levels of quality and service.

They are currently looking to recruit an Outsourcing Co-ordinator to joint their team.

Main Duties:
  • Manage the outsourcing process organising work being moved to and from the company
  • Liaise with the purchasing, scheduling and sales teams to determine outsourcing levels and action the outsourcing process in conjunction with the outsourcing co-ordinator
  • Provide regular updates on status of outsourced work to purchasing, scheduling & sales teams
  • Ensure that external suppliers are meeting the requirements of the company
  • Holiday cover for production & board scheduling staff
  • Reporting to the Scheduling Manager
  • Responsible for covering the scheduling and sourcing department's holidays
  • Also some software/systems work (which you would be fully trained on)

Person Specification - Successful candidate for this role will:
  • Be able to demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and decision making
  • Have the ability to use own initiative and demonstrate input into continuous improvement initiatives
  • Be a confident team player
  • Show evidence of good communication skills and ability to deal with people at all levels of the business
  • Demonstrate a flexible and creative approach to work
  • Have the ability to develop skills via both internal and external training

Minimum Skill / Qualification Requirements:
  • Educated to GCSE standard
  • Have a clear understanding of scheduling operations within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of outsourcing processes
  • Ability to work within a team
