Major Account Director
One of the top 5 print management companies in the UK has an opening for a Major Account Director. The purpose of this key role is to manage one of their largest and most prestigious accounts. The client you will be managing is one of the most renowned Banking Groups in the nation, therefore candidates must have experience of working with either banking or financial institutions.
Getting to know the key decision makers within the bank will be key to this role. It will be your job to develop trusting and long lasting relationship. As the key interface between our client and this banking institution, portraying a high degree of professionalism, confidence and boundless energy will be of the upmost importance.
With a focus on maximising revenue within this account, you must know the industry inside out and will have an aptitude for expanding this relationship by identifying their needs and requirements. We are looking for someone able to interpret briefs and capable of expediting necessary areas of the business.
You will be a commercial thinker with boundless energy will be responsible for ensuring existing clients’ needs are met in accordance to Service Level Agreements. The successful applicant will demonstrate a proven track record in a previous Key Account Manager / Account Director role within a fast-paced high volume turnover sector.
You will have a strong analytical mind with the capability of foreseeing problems early and implementing suitable counter measures.
Main duties of the post
- Strengthen the client relationship through proactive account directorship
Maintain client satisfaction to an agreed target
Actively seek to increase the services offered and increase income generated
Have an in-depth understanding of the financial status of the client
Develop processes that help to accurately forecast up and coming workloads
- Continually strengthen and forge excellent client relationships with each decision maker through proactive directorship and communication
- Employ excellent listening and probing questioning skills to fully understand the client and their industry sector
- Understand the client’s products, services and marketing objectives
Ensuring the client receives timely, high quality reporting
Promote professionalism through manner, appearance and delivery and always keeping promises
