Maintenance Engineer, Print & Packaging - Cheshire
Global Packaging manufacturer seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to deliver excellence and consistency within its 24/7 manufacturing operation. Your responsibility will be to ensure Production Machinery is maintained & repaired to a high standard to enable maximum production speeds with minimum interruptions and breakdowns. A high level of diligence is also required to make sure Maintenance & Service records are maintained at all times as well as the flexibility and personality to operate efficiently and effectively at all level across the production warehouse.
Your specific responsibilities on a daily basis will be:
- Devise, fabricate and install improvements to a diverse array of Print & Production Machinery
- Carry out planned maintenance to a high standard
- Respond to breakdowns on Production machines
- Install and relocate production equipment
- Carry out Electrical, Mechanical & Pneumatic Fault Finding
With a proven ability to read Electrical & Mechanical Drawings, you will liaise with Contractors, Suppliers, Engineering Companies and other key departments across the site & wider Group. Maintaining the prerequisite Health & Safety for yourself and others, you will develop good working relationship with all Departments, forged through experience working in a high speed, high pressure production environment, ideally within the Printing or Carton manufacturing Industry.
Highly responsible and conscientious, working well on your own or in a team, you will be a good communicator, reliable and flexible, with a strong work ethic and able to effectively prioritise and adapt to a variable workload.
