Our client is a signage and displays company offering a wide range of products including - internal and external signs, illuminated signs, wall signs, fascia signs, banners, vehicle graphics, and built up letters. They offer a full service to the customer from site survey to design of the sign and then manufacture and installation.

They are currently looking for 2 Regional Sales Executives to join their team; 1 based in the West Midlands and 1 based in London.

The Role
  • A good number of enquiries will come from existing customers who have worked with the company on previous signage projects
  • You will also get a lot of enquiries from new customers who have found the company website
  • In some cases you are able to handle the customer's enquiry from your desk - this applies to smaller simpler signs
  • In many cases you will be obliged to go and see the customer and provide a survey
  • As a Surveyor you would meet the customer, understand their requirements, measure the area where the proposed signs are to go and provide the customer with advice, photo examples and samples to enable the customer to choose the right sign for them
  • After a survey you would prepare a proposal for the client - showing them their cost options, a visual simulation of what the sign might look like and a sample if necessary. Very often you would go back to the client to present this proposal in person
  • Once you land an order you need to work closely with the production team to ensure that the customer's requirements are being understood and met
  • The sales target is typically about £30,000 - £40,000 per month on which you would earn commission

Qualities Required
  • A willingness to work hard
  • A practical grasp of how signs work
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • A flair for design (which can inspire the customer)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A sense of humour
  • Able to work to a proven in house sales system
  • Ambition to develop a growing role in the business
