Our client based in North London is a specialist in Direct Mail, Print and Digital Marketing Solutions who are currently looking for an Account Manager to join their team:

  • To develop, nurture and manage both the company's new business accounts and existing client portfolio specifically assigned within your team
  • Ensure the client is receiving measurable, added value in terms of pricing, client services, delivery and maximum postal discounts (across all postal providers) to ensure the company's competitive edge is maintained
  • Maintain and account for profitability of all campaigns and to ensure they are produced on budget and to the estimate / quotation
  • Consistently deliver against each of the company's client Service Level Agreements pertaining to your accounts
  • Assist where appropriate in new business pitches and opportunities
  • Identify and develop any new business opportunities within your client base
  • Compile and prepare client quotations / estimates and follow up where necessary
  • Organising, scheduling and regular attendance of all client site visits and status meetings
  • Produce and circulate detailed contact reports resulting from all client meetings within 24 hours of the meeting
  • Undertake, manage, oversee and effect timely delivery of all client briefs
  • Purchasing and liaison with third party suppliers where appropriate ensuring all relevant paperwork is duly completed - purchase orders, delivery notes etc.
  • Upon job completion, reconcile all internal and external costs and raise invoice
  • Ongoing, regular and timely dialogue with existing and lapsed clients
  • Ensuring the above, maintaining regular and ongoing communication channels with other Departmental Managers, Supervisors and Directors within the company
  • Compliance with all written company procedures and processes
  • Continually monitor the direct marketing services industry - competitors, pricing and service provision and propose / implement improved working practices to maintain the company's competitive edge
  • Maintain an active role in all direct marketing briefs placed into production to ensure a consistent and high level of service to the client
  • Ensure timely and accurate issuing of sales invoices and associated internal paperwork
  • Keep your working area clean and tidy at all times

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office software for reporting and analysis requirements
  • Previous direct mail experience is essential
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and able to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to manage own work load effectively
  • Good interpersonal skills
