Our client is an international marketing solutions and customer communications company that brings brands to life across every channel, in every market, all with a local touch. With over 700 employees across various sites worldwide, our client serves customers in a range of markets including retail, financial services, travel, automotive, healthcare, leisure, pharmaceutical and the public sector.

They are currently looking to recruit a Fusion Operator to join their growing team Print Production - Insertion and Mail Sort Team.

Responsibilities:
  • Operating fusion machines and helping out with print or card production areas when needed
  • Employees are expected to comply and exhibit behaviours consistent with 5S and Lean
  • Must comply with all department policies and safety regulations at all times
  • Operate production equipment in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure all work is produced timely and accurately and complete quality checks
  • Makes minor adjustments to machines where necessary and proactively assist other areas as necessary
  • Understand lean manufacturing tools and active engagement in all 5S activities
  • Ability to operate insertion and enclosing machinery is advantageous
  • Follows the scheduled to do list
  • Ensure all possible jobs are processed within the system
  • Ensure accuracy of system input in accordance with procedures
  • Ensure waste is minimised


Requirements:
  • Must be a self-starter, able to be cross-trained on multiple pieces of equipment
  • Team player, organised and results oriented with exceptional work habits
  • Physical stamina, flexibility in work schedule and decision-making ability are also required
  • Professional and positive attitude
  • Organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in controlled highly regulated production environment
  • Capability of working as an individual and as part of a team
  • High level of accuracy
  • Demonstrate flexible approach towards working hours and duties
  • Effectively communicate with internal team, sharing key information in an appropriate format
  • Take ownership and responsibility for what you do / request of others and manage self proactively
