Our client is a leading signage & graphics company based in the South East. They are currently looking to a recruit a self-motivated and reliable Production / Studio Operator to join their growing team. This is a fast-paced role and the successful candidate will be key in delivering an exceptional product / service that differentiates the company from their competitors. This position is approximately 70% production and 30% artworking.

Responsibilities / Requirements:
  • Operating various signage and large format machinery such as Summa cutters, laser cutters, CNC routers, Roll to Roll and hybrid printers
  • Artworking and using Adobe software - previous experience is beneficial
  • Retain long term, satisfied customers through the efficient production of signage meeting our company benchmarks and requirement
  • Ensure all deliveries are on time to maintain and defend the company's key differentiator
  • Attend and contribute to daily production meetings
  • Accurately estimate production time to ensure successful completion of goals
  • Perform scheduled machine maintenance including the change of consumable parts and replacements
  • Purge, organise and systematise the working environment
  • Retain a clean, safe and efficient working environment through removal of waste and debris
  • Review products for defects i.e. QC checking
  • Operate and manage production machinery
  • Complete manual finishing processes
  • Package and dispatch products for safe, on-time delivery
  • Machine and floor maintenance will be performed as per the current schedule and requirements of the business
  • Plan and list work steps in order to achieve daily goals / targets
  • Individual output and contribution will be recorded and quantified transparently ensuring accurate, up-to-date (progress visible to customers and managers)
  • Produce a value of throughput at the required production value rate
  • Flexible and willing to work overtime as and when required
  • Adhere to company health & safety regulations at all times
  • Must be self-motivated and able to manage own workload in fast-paced environment
