Our client is a leading signage company in the South East. They are currently looking for a Head of Key Accounts to manage a team of 5 Account Managers and a BDM. You won't have your own personal targets, however you will be targeted on the development of the team. They're needing a high calibre candidate who is driven and who can motivate people.
Aim of Role:Support overall business growth by setting and achieving a stretch target for increasing our revenue, profit and market share in house building.Provide sales and customer leadership across the group, ensuring the house building team have the support, skills, mindset and motivation to succeed.Deliver superior customer experience and improved internal effectiveness by delivering synergies between the new business and account manager teams.
Duties (including but not limited to):Revenue and profit growth. Meet financial objectives by maximising order values and profitability, ensuring you achieve the revenue and profit targets for the group. Measure and improve the way profit margins are managed across the house building team.Customer lifecycle. Take responsibility for improving customer interaction at all stages of their lifecycle, from initial contact through the entire sales process. Ensure that existing customers are "mined" for new business and that customer retention is improved through aftersales communication.Sales funnel conversion. Utilising the existing CRM system, create a simplified Sales Funnel that gives accurate financial projections for the balance of year, whilst providing accurate monthly forecasts. Ensure accurate and timely information is fed into the CRM system at all times and that the order process for each job is accurately captured by the team.People management. Exhibit leadership skills within the group appropriate for a direct report of the MD. Take ownership of all aspects of people performance within the house building team, including recruitment and retention, performance management and appraisals.Account management. Personally manage a small number of customers as agreed with the MD, ensuring that sales and profit targets are met and process and reporting standards are demonstrated to be the group's gold standard.Management control. Control at high level all works carried out by the house building team, ensuring the team's procedures sit within the workflow defined in the ISO9001 quality system. Improve the group's accuracy in quoting.Value Adding. Raise the department and company reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
